Ten Hag Supports 'Ketchup Bottle' Rashford Following Goal.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag defended Marcus Rashford, saying he's faced "too much negativity" lately. He expects Rashford's goals to come flowing like ketchup from a bottle after the striker scored in the win against Southampton.

The England forward netted his side's second goal in the 3-0 victory at St Mary’s on Saturday. It was his first goal since March, when he scored in the FA Cup win over Liverpool.

Rashford, 26, had faced criticism for his performance in the 3-0 Premier League loss to Liverpool before the international break. Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag defended him, saying the criticism was unfair.

"It's crucial we ignore outside noise," Ten Hag stated. "There was too much negativity directed at him. He created two great chances in that game and has played well in other matches this season."
