Ten Hag Agrees with Rangnick on Man Utd Issues.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag agrees with former interim boss Ralf Rangnick, stating Rangnick was "absolutely right" about the club needing significant changes.

Erik ten Hag, who took over as Manchester United manager in 2022 after Ralf Rangnick’s seven-month stint, agrees with Rangnick’s assessment that the club needed major changes.

Rangnick, now managing Austria, had stated that United required "open-heart" surgery rather than just minor tweaks.

Ten Hag, who recently signed a one-year contract extension, confirmed Rangnick’s analysis in an interview with Dutch newspaper AD Sportwereld.

"Rangnick was absolutely right," Ten Hag said. "We’ve been working hard for two years, and it’s a complex operation. I knew it would be tough."

Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe acquired a 27.7% stake in the club last December, United has seen significant changes off the pitch.
