Team GB Unveils Ambitious Goals for Paris 2024 Olympics & Paralympics.

UK Sport has set an ambitious target for Team GB, aiming for an impressive haul of 50 to 70 medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics. This goal reflects the organization's confidence in the athletes' abilities and the nation's commitment to maintaining its status as a global sporting powerhouse.

With a mix of seasoned champions and rising stars, Team GB is gearing up for what promises to be a thrilling and record-breaking performance in Paris.

The UK’s high-performance sport agency aims for 100-140 Paralympic medals and a top-five finish in both the Olympic and Paralympic medal tables at Paris 2024.

At the delayed Tokyo 2020 Games, Britain secured fourth place in the Olympic table with 64 medals and second in the Paralympic table with 124. No strict targets were set for Tokyo due to the Covid pandemic, but UK Sport hoped for 45-70 Olympic medals and 100-140 Paralympic medals.

In Rio 2016, Team GB finished second in both medal tables, with 67 Olympic and 147 Paralympic medals, marking the nation's most successful overseas Olympics and the best Paralympics since Seoul 1988.

In Tokyo, British athletes won medals in 18 Olympic and 18 Paralympic sports, the highest variety of any nation ever.
