The Refugee Paralympic Team for Paris 2024 will feature eight exceptional athletes and one guide runner, marking their largest contingent yet. These remarkable individuals, each with a unique journey of resilience and determination, embody the spirit of overcoming adversity.

As they prepare to compete on the world stage, their participation not only showcases their athletic prowess but also highlights the power of sport to unite and inspire across borders and barriers.

The Refugee Paralympic Team (RPT) is set to make a historic entry at Paris 2024, with their largest lineup yet after sending two athletes to Rio 2016 and six to Tokyo 2020 under the IPC flag.

"Refugees thrive when given the opportunity to use, develop, and showcase their skills and talents, in sport and beyond."

The roster includes Guillaume Junior Atangana and guide Donard Ndim Nyamjua in athletics, Salman Abbariki in athletics, Zakia Khudadadi in taekwondo, Hadi Hassanzada in taekwondo, Ibrahim Al Hussein in triathlon, Hadi Darvish in powerlifting, Sayed Amir Hossein Pour in table tennis, and Amelio Castro Grueso in fencing.

Each athlete brings a unique story of perseverance and determination, ready to inspire audiences on the global stage in August.
