Cricket Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024
Posted 8 months agoLucknow Super Giants notched their second victory of the IPL 2024 season by defeating the Royal Challengers Bengaluru with a 28-run margin at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Tuesday.
Lucknow Super Giants posted a formidable total of 181/5, powered by Quinton de Kock's 81 and Nicholas Pooran's unbeaten 40-run onslaught.
Youngster Mayank Yadav's exceptional bowling performance, taking three crucial wickets, contributed significantly to restricting Royal Challengers Bengaluru to 153 all out in 19.4 overs.
RCB's bowling struggles are evident, with Mohammed Siraj's performance notably concerning, and Alzarri Joseph failing to make an impact. As a result, the franchise may consider bringing in Reece Topley or Lockie Ferguson for the upcoming match against Lucknow.
On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants are coming off a 21-run victory against Punjab Kings.
However, they are worried about Rahul's fitness, who played as an Impact Player substitute last match with Nicholas Pooran leading the team.
The spotlight will be on Mayank Yadav, who impressed everyone with his speed, delivering the fastest ball of the season.
