Phoenix Falls Short: Record-Low Total in Hundred Loss.

Birmingham Phoenix were bowled out for the lowest total ever recorded in the Hundred's history, suffering a decisive defeat against Northern Superchargers at Edgbaston.

Chasing 116 for victory, the hosts were dismissed for just 54, setting a new record for the lowest total in the Hundred, surpassing the previous record of 64 all out set by the Oval Invincibles against the Superchargers.

The Phoenix’s innings of 86 balls was also the third shortest in the Hundred's women’s competition. Opener Sophie Devine scored 20 off 25 balls, and Seren Smale added 16 off 20, but no other Phoenix player reached double digits.

Spinners Linsey Smith and Georgia Wareham excelled for the visitors, each taking 3 wickets for just 12 runs.
