Two British Paralympic athletes have ignited the Paralympic flame, marking the start of its journey to the Paris Games.
On Saturday, Helene Raynsford and Gregor Ewan sparked the Paralympic flame in Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire, the birthplace of the Paralympic movement.
The torch will travel through the UK in a relay with 24 torchbearers before crossing the Channel Tunnel on its way to Paris.
“I’m thrilled to be part of this historic moment,” Ewan said.
