Pakistan Appoints Gillespie as Men's Test Coach.

Pakistan recently announced the appointment of former Australian pace bowler Jason Gillespie as the coach of their men's Test side.

The 49-year-old Jason Gillespie, who previously led Yorkshire to two County Championship titles, has signed a two-year contract as the coach of Pakistan's men's Test side.

Gary Kirsten, a former South African batter and successful coach, will be in charge of Pakistan's one-day and T20 teams.

Gillespie expressed his excitement about leading the Pakistan cricket team, acknowledging the rich legacy and passionate fan base associated with the team.

England is set to kick off their home summer with a four-match T20 series against Pakistan, starting on 22 May.

Ben Stokes' Test team is scheduled to tour Pakistan later this year.

Grant Bradburn recently departed from his position as Pakistan's coach in January. Following his departure, former all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez briefly served as the head coach and team director.

Jason Gillespie, who is set to lead Pakistan's men's Test side, revealed last month that he will be stepping down from his coaching roles with South Australia and Hobart Hurricanes in June.
