Norris Content with 99% Performance, Aims for Extra 1% to Overtake Verstappen.

Lando Norris is keeping his eyes on the Formula 1 title this year, despite losing to Max Verstappen in a grand prix he believed he could have won for the second time in a row.

The McLaren driver finished just two seconds behind the world champion at the Spanish Grand Prix.

The disappointment on his face afterward showed that, as Norris said, "I could have performed better today."

"We could have gained some points on Max," he added. "There was a chance to beat him in Canada two weeks ago. I've been second in two races, and he's won them both.

"But Max needs to stop winning. He's still extending his lead, but we can't let him run away with it. If I had made better decisions in Canada and had a better start today, we could have won both races.

"We have the ability; we just need to put it all together."

After this race, Norris is 69 points behind Verstappen. However, there are still 14 races left in this lengthy F1 season. Verstappen is in the lead, but if anyone is going to challenge him, it seems like Norris is the one to watch."
