Nita Ambani Re-Elected Unopposed to International Olympic Committee.

Ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony this weekend, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has re-elected Nita Ambani as its member from India. 

Ambani, chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, was unanimously elected with 100% of the votes during the 142nd IOC session in Paris on July 24.

After her re-election, Nita Ambani expressed her honor and gratitude, saying, "I am deeply honored to be re-elected to the International Olympic Committee. My thanks go to President Bach and my IOC colleagues for their trust. This re-election highlights India's growing role in global sports. I share this achievement with every Indian and am excited to continue supporting the Olympic Movement both in India and worldwide."
