New Orleans Pelicans Break Franchise Record with Highest-Ever NBA Points Total.

In a remarkable performance, the New Orleans Pelicans achieved a historic milestone by scoring a franchise-record 153 points in their impressive 153-124 victory against the Utah Jazz.

The team's exceptional offensive display showcased their prowess on the court and marked a significant moment in their history.

CJ McCollum led the way for the New Orleans Pelicans with an impressive 33 points, while Herbert Jones Jr contributed 22 points, and Brandon Ingram added 18 in their recent game.

The team's new franchise record of 153 points surpassed their previous best set in 2018 with a 149-129 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

In another game, Jalen Williams secured a last-second basket, helping the Oklahoma City Thunder claim a close 111-109 win against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stood out for the Thunder with 33 points and 10 assists, maintaining their position at the top of the Western Conference with a 30-13 record this season.

However, there's some controversy as ESPN reported that the Trail Blazers are appealing the result. They claim they were not granted a timeout before a crucial turnover with 15 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

Despite the setback, Portland has faced difficulties lately, losing six of their last eight games and managing only 43 points in the second half of this particular match.

In a standout performance, Kawhi Leonard achieved his second career triple-double with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, leading the Los Angeles Clippers to a 127-116 victory over their city rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers.

Unfortunately, the Lakers played without LeBron James due to an ankle injury and have struggled recently with an 8-14 record since winning the NBA in-season tournament in early December.

In contrast, the Clippers secured their 28-14 record and extended their winning streak to three games.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic had an outstanding game for the Denver Nuggets, scoring 31 points, grabbing 13 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists to achieve his 13th triple-double of the season.

The Nuggets secured a 114-109 victory over the Indiana Pacers in an impressive display of Jokic's all-around skills.
