Two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu tried all way to dominate Tai Tzu Ying, but ultimately she was knocked out of the quarter-finals by her defending opponent Tai Tzu Ying in the Malaysia Masters 2022, held in Kuala Lumpur.
Playing on Court 2, Tai Tzu-ying bagged the first game 21-13 in 14 minutes. Sindhu fought back in the next game and played aggressively to claim it 21-12. She fought well in the decider game but was not able to defend her opponent. Finally lost the game by 12-21.
Another fantastic performance from Tzu-ying and she increased her head-to-head record against the Indian 17-5.
