Jockey Williams Faces Ban Following Positive Cocaine Test.

Jockey Jordan Williams received a six-month ban due to a positive cocaine test.

Williams, 25, appeared before an independent disciplinary panel on Thursday for violating the British Horseracing Authority's (BHA) Rules of Racing.

According to the rules, jockeys must ensure they have no banned substances in their system.

Williams was randomly tested for drugs at Kempton on February 7.

A hair sample revealed the presence of cocaine, ingested between December and February.

Williams admitted to the violation, and the panel imposed a six-month ban.

The ban is backdated to start from March 11, 2024, when his interim suspension began after the positive test.
