The Boston Celtics, currently leading the NBA's Eastern Conference, continued their impressive winning streak by securing their eighth consecutive victory with a dominant 129-102 win against the Detroit Pistons.

Jaylen Brown showcased his scoring prowess once again for the Celtics, putting up an impressive 33 points against the Detroit Pistons. 

This marks the sixth time since the All-Star break in February that Brown has scored at least 30 points in a game. Payton Pritchard also contributed significantly with 20 points.

Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla praised Brown's all-around performance, stating, "He's playing well-rounded basketball and it has been fun to watch."

With this win, the Celtics boast the best record in the NBA, tallying 56 wins against 14 losses.

Meanwhile, Derrick White and Kristaps Porzingis led the charge for Detroit, each scoring 19 points, while James Wiseman contributed 24 points for the team.

In other NBA action, the Oklahoma City Thunder surpassed the defending champions Denver Nuggets to claim the top spot in the Western Conference following a convincing 123-103 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

The Los Angeles Lakers secured a crucial win against the Philadelphia 76ers with Anthony Davis scoring 23 points and LeBron James adding 20, including 11 points in the fourth quarter.

Lastly, the Indiana Pacers emerged victorious against the Golden State Warriors with a score of 123-111 in San Francisco.
