Ipswich Town Makes Triumphant Return to Premier League After 22 Years.

Ipswich Town made a sensational return to the Premier League after nearly two decades by securing a convincing victory over relegated Huddersfield at a jubilant Portman Road.

Wales' Wes Burns scored in the first half, followed by Omari Hutchinson's goal in the second, securing Ipswich Town's return to the Premier League with a win against Huddersfield.

Needing just one point for promotion, Kieran McKenna's team played aggressively, dominating the match. The result also marked Huddersfield's relegation to League One, their first in 12 years.

Ipswich ended the season with 96 points, narrowly missing out on the top spot to Leicester. McKenna joins a select group of Ipswich managers to achieve Premier League promotion, following legends like Sir Alf Ramsey and George Burley.

Ipswich Town made three lineup changes from their previous win against Coventry, bringing back Conor Chaplin, their joint top scorer.

Additionally, goalkeeper Chris Maxwell earned his first start for Huddersfield since Boxing Day under the guidance of head coach Andre Breitenreiter.
