Indian shuttlers advanced into the quarter-finals of their respective events at CWG 2022.

Star Indian shuttlers, including P.V. Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth, Lakshya Sen and doubles teams of Chirag Shetty/Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Gayatri Gopichand/Treesa Jolly achieved thrilling victory and stormed into the quarterfinals of their respective events at the Commonwealth Games.

The two-time Olympic medalist, PV Sindhu defeated Uganda's Husina Kobugabe by 21-10 21-9 in her pre-quarterfinal match.

Kidambi Srikanth had a superb win over Sri Lanka's Dumindu Abeywickrama by 21-9 21-12 in men's singles.

World championships bronze medalist, Lakshya Sen, advanced into the last eight with a 21-9 21-16 win over Australia's Ying Xiang Lin.

Aakarshi Kashyap sailed into the last eight after defeating Cyprus' Eva Kattirtzi by  21-2 21-7.

India's Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy and Chandrashekhar Shettythe in the men's doubles Round game smashed Pakistan's Murad Ali and Muhammad Irfan Saeed Bhatti to seal their spot in the men's doubles quarterfinals.

Indian women's pairing of Gayatri Gopichand and Treesa Jolly stormed into the last eight after defeating  Mauritius Leung For Sang Jemimah and Ganesh Mungrah by 21-2 21-4.

Double Olympic medalist Sindhu will face Malaysia's Goh Jin Wei in the next round for a place in the semifinals.
