Indian Badminton Stars will compete without PV Sindhu at Denmark Open 2022.

Leading Indian shuttlers Lakshya Sen, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, Srikanth Kidambi, HS Prannoy and Saina Nehwal will all be part of the Indian contenders in the BWF Denmark Open 2022 Super 750 event at the Jyske Bank Arena in Odense.

The Indian Badminton Stars will have to go through some tough challenges as PV Sindhu continues to be absent after she suffered a stress fracture on her way to gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.

In PV Sindhu's absence, all will be looking forward to Kidambi Srikanth, Lakshya Sen, HS Prannoy and doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty in the event.

In men's singles, world No 8 Lakshya Sen is the highest-ranked Indian. He will start his campaign against world No 6 and Olympic bronze medalist Anthony Sinisuka Ginting of Indonesia. The Indian holds a 2-0 head-to-head edge, having beaten him at the German Open and Thomas Cup final this year.
