Heart of Midlothian and Rangers Kick Off Scottish Premiership Season with Stalemate.

Heart of Midlothian and Rangers began the Scottish Premiership season with a draw, hinting that last season's runners-up are still a work in progress following a turbulent summer for the visitors.

The two teams faced off again at Tynecastle after their thrilling 3-3 draw to end last season.

In May, Kyosuke Tagawa’s last-minute goal saved Hearts, but this time, the Edinburgh side was unlucky not to secure a win, showing they’ve closed the gap with Rangers.

Hearts' head coach, Steven Naismith, extended their home unbeaten streak to 12 games, while Rangers' manager, Philippe Clement, might feel more satisfied with the draw, as it keeps Rangers unbeaten against Hearts for 16 matches.

The draw gives Celtic a chance to take an early lead in the standings when they play Kilmarnock on Sunday.
