Novak Djokovic secured a hard-fought victory against 18-year-old Croat Prizmic by 6-2 6-7 (5-7) 6-3 6-4 in the Australian Open 2024, saving six match points. 

Djokovic, aiming for his 25th Grand Slam singles title, praised Prizmic's resilience. 

He'll face Alexei Popyrin or Marc Polmans in the next round. 

Other notable results include Andrey Rublev's five-set win and Marin Cilic's loss. 

Matteo Berrettini withdrew due to a foot injury. 

The tournament's extended to 15 days this year to prevent late finishes, starting on a Sunday.
