Djokovic Advances to Wimbledon Semifinals as De Minaur Withdraws.

Novak Djokovic secures a spot in the Wimbledon semifinals as Alex de Minaur unfortunately withdraws from their quarterfinal clash due to a hip injury.

This development paves the way for Djokovic to continue his pursuit of a record-tying 20th Grand Slam title amid an eventful tournament filled with surprises and standout performances.

The Australian ninth seed, Alex de Minaur, was slated to face 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in the second match on Centre Court on Wednesday.

However, Djokovic, aged 37, advances to the semi-finals after De Minaur withdrew due to a hip injury.

Djokovic now awaits the winner between Italy's Lorenzo Musetti and American 13th seed Taylor Fritz for his next match.

"I'm devastated to pull out due to a hip injury," De Minaur expressed. "I felt a loud crack during the last three points of my match against [Arthur] Fils."
