Britons Neal Skupski and Joe Salisbury stormed into the men's doubles third round of the ongoing French Open 2023 after cruising past their respective opponents in the second round thrilling clash at Roland Garros, Paris.

Neal Skupski and Dutch partner Wesley Koolhof displayed balanced momentum to edge past Argentine Pedro Cachin and China's Wu Yibing by 6-4 6-2 in the second round.

On the other hand, Joe Salisbury and partner Rajeev Ram progressed into the third round of the tournament after their Spanish opponents Roberto Carballes Baena and Jaume Munar retired after the first set.

In the third round of the tournament, Skupski and Koolhof will clash with Kazakhstan's Aleksandr Nedovyesov and Mexican Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela to seal their spot in the quarter-final.

Meanwhile, Salisbury and Ram will play against Argentine 14th seeds Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni in the next round.
