Teenager Mirra Andreeva made an amazing comeback in the third set, saving a match point to reach the fourth round of the Australian Open.
The 16-year-old Russian, Mirra Andreeva, pulled off an incredible comeback at the Australian Open.
Despite being 5-1 down in the deciding set and facing a match point, she managed to beat France's Diane Parry 1-6 6-1 7-6 (10-5).
Andreeva won five games in a row and served for the match, but Parry broke back, leading to a tie-break.
In the end, Andreeva dominated the tie-break, securing her spot in the next round.
This is Andreeva's first time at the Australian Open, and she previously reached the fourth round at Wimbledon last year.
Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed from Belarus, continued her strong title defense with a swift 6-0 6-0 victory over Lesia Tsurenko, having lost only six games in her three matches at Melbourne Park this year.
Meanwhile, Coco Gauff also advanced with a 6-0 6-2 win over Alycia Parks.
