Amanda Nunes defends her bantamweight title at UFC 277.

Amanda Nunes reaffirmed and proved herself as one of the toughest fighters ever to set foot in the Octagon by winning the bantamweight title at the UFC 277 main event in Dallas, Texas.

Earlier in December Amanda lost her bantamweight title to Julianna Pena. But she fought back so aggressively which forced Julianna Pena to surrender her belt to Nunes in the main event of UFC 277 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Nunes swept all five rounds on all three judge's cards, winning by scores of 50-45, 50-44 and 50-43.

Amanda was clearly in control, but Pena caught her in several submission attempts, including an armbar and a Kimura, that caused Nunes several nervous moments.

Amanda Nunes became a two-time title holder at 135 pounds and a simultaneous two-division champion and also she holds featherweight gold as well.
