2024 NBA Playoffs: Qualifiers, Standings, and Play-In Tournament Overview.

The NBA regular season has concluded after seven months, culminating in an exciting final day. Now, everyone's attention shifts to the upcoming playoffs.

Twelve teams have secured their spots in the playoffs, while the remaining four positions will be determined through the play-in tournament.

This tournament begins on Tuesday and includes notable teams like LeBron James' Los Angeles Lakers and Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors.

These teams will compete to advance to the NBA Finals in June, with select games set to be broadcast live on the BBC.

Here are the teams that have clinched a spot in the NBA playoffs:

Eastern Conference: Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers.

Western Conference: Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets (defending champions), Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns.

The NBA play-in tournament features the following teams battling for playoff spots:

The NBA play-in tournament happens from Tuesday to Friday before the playoffs start on April 20th.

In each conference, teams ranked from seventh to tenth in the regular season will vie for two extra playoff spots.

The seventh-seeded team competes against the eighth-seeded team, and the ninth-seeded team plays against the tenth-seeded team.

The winners of the seventh-eighth match secure the seventh playoff seed. The losers face off against the winner of the ninth-10th match, and the winner of that match claims the eighth seed.
