Wilson Holds Strong Lead Over Jones, Nears World Title Victory.

Kyren Wilson kept a comfortable five-frame advantage over Jak Jones, positioning himself just three frames away from clinching his inaugural world title. With a 15-10 lead going into the final session, Wilson is on the brink of a significant achievement in his career.

The 32-year-old Englishman, appearing in his second final, showcased his skill with three half-century breaks. He also won the final frame of the session, maintaining his lead over the determined Welsh opponent.

Jak Jones, aiming to make history as the first qualifier to win the trophy since Shaun Murphy in 2005, faced a deficit of 11-6 overnight. Despite narrowing the gap to just three frames twice, at 11-8 and 13-10, he couldn't surpass Wilson's lead.

The match, a best-of-35 encounter, will conclude starting from 19:00 BST, with up to 10 more frames to be played live on BBC Two.
