Webb Stresses Football's Officiating Involves 'Human Judgment'.

Howard Webb, the referees' chief, emphasized that football is "officiated by human beings" who rely on their judgment when making decisions. He specifically reviewed various crucial penalty decisions made during recent Premier League matches.

After Nottingham Forest was denied three penalties in their recent 2-0 loss to Everton, they expressed anger on social media, claiming that VAR official Stuart Attwell favored their relegation rivals, Luton. This led to investigations by the FA and Premier League, with Forest also requesting access to the officials' audio recordings.

This isn't the first time such a request has been made this season. Liverpool previously asked for officials' audio to be made public after Luis Diaz's disallowed goal against Tottenham in September.
