MI vs SRH, IPL 2024: Suryakumar Yadav's Brilliant 102* Off 51 Balls Leads Mumbai Indians to 7-Wicket Victory.

Mumbai Indians (MI) secured a seven-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 55th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Suryakumar Yadav scored his second IPL century as Mumbai Indians successfully chased the target with 16 balls left.

With this win, the IPL 2024 points table is heating up as three teams are now tied at 12 points.

Opting to bowl after winning the toss, Hardik Pandya chose a pitch that seemed favorable for batting but had a hint of green.

SRH's openers, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, struggled initially against Mumbai's bowlers who utilized the pitch well. However, Head picked up the pace, and SRH crossed the 50-run mark in just five overs.

Jasprit Bumrah then made a crucial breakthrough by dismissing Abhishek Sharma.

Following that, debutant Anshul Kamboj took the wicket of Mayank Agarwal, and then Piyush Chawla dismissed the dangerous Travis Head. Despite wickets falling regularly, Pat Cummins' impressive cameo of 35 runs from just 17 balls pushed SRH beyond the 170-run mark, concluding their innings at 173-8 in 20 overs.
