KKR's Harshit Rana Fined and Suspended for Code of Conduct Breach, Out for One Game.

Kolkata Knight Riders' Harshit Rana, a pace bowler, got hit with a full match fee fine and a one-game suspension due to breaking the IPL Code of Conduct while playing against Delhi Capitals.

Consequently, he'll be absent for KKR's upcoming match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium, slated for May 3rd.

The IPL announcement didn't mention the exact reason behind Harshit Rana's fine, but it's likely due to his lively celebration aimed at DC's Abishek Porel.

Rana, who took 2 wickets for 28 runs in KKR's win, dismissed Porel in the seventh over and gave him a send-off as he departed.

This led to Rana being charged with a Level 1 breach under Article 2.5 of the tournament rules.

In such cases, the Match Referee's ruling is conclusive, resulting in Rana's fine and suspension.

For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding.
