David Moyes Set to Depart West Ham at Season's End.

David Moyes, the manager of West Ham, will be leaving the club after the current Premier League season ends. This decision has been confirmed by the club.

Earlier on Monday, Guillem Balague of BBC Sport reported that Julen Lopetegui, former boss of Wolves, has agreed to step in for Moyes.

Moyes, 61, faced mounting pressure due to a string of poor results, including a 5-0 loss to Chelsea on Sunday.

"I've had a fantastic four and a half years at West Ham, and the club is in a much stronger position than when I returned in 2019," Moyes commented.

He returned to West Ham in December 2019, leading them to win the Europa Conference League last season—their first significant title in 43 years. However, their recent form has been lacking, with just one win in their last ten games and a current ninth place in the Premier League, likely missing out on European football next season.

"When I came back to West Ham the second time, we were barely above the relegation zone. It's been an incredible journey to secure three consecutive seasons in Europe," Moyes reflected.
