Yorkshire has signed Pakistan batter Saud Shakeel for the County Championship.

Pakistan's left-handed batter, Saud Shakeel has agreed to a four-game deal with the County Club, Yorkshire for the ongoing County Championship campaign.

Shakeel will be available for selection for the second LV= Insurance County Championship game against Gloucestershire at Bristol next week and will be one of the Club's overseas players, joining Shai Hope in the squad.

A middle-order batter, Shakeel made his Test debut for Pakistan against England in December and scored 346 runs at 57.66, including four half-centuries, during the series – a haul bettered by only Babar Azam among his teammates.
