Belgium's Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois Sidelined for Euro 2024.

Belgium's goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, won't be playing in Euro 2024 due to a knee ligament injury, even though there's a chance he could return for Real Madrid.

Courtois, 31, has been out for the entire season due to a knee injury and had to undergo another operation in March after facing a setback.

There's a possibility he might make a comeback for Real Madrid before the season ends. However, Belgium's coach Domenico Tedesco has confirmed that Courtois won't be part of the Euro 2024 squad.

Courtois, with 102 caps for Belgium, had already indicated in December that he wouldn't fully recover in time for the tournament scheduled in Germany this June and July.

Tedesco emphasized that they're focusing on players who are fit and in good condition. Meanwhile, Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti expressed his hope to see Courtois back in action for Saturday's La Liga match against Cadiz.
