Zaha & Stormzy: The Non-League Club with Superstar Owners.

AFC Croydon Athletic's match against Camberley Town in the Combined Counties League on April 9 might have seemed routine on paper.

The match between AFC Croydon Athletic and Camberley Town on April 9 seemed like an ordinary game in English football's ninth tier, drawing just 43 spectators.

However, among the crowd at Krooner Park was Wilfried Zaha, the former Crystal Palace star who now plays for Galatasaray. As a co-owner of AFC Croydon Athletic, Zaha takes his role seriously.

Rams manager Jermaine McGlashan said, "Wilf had a few days off and decided to fly over to watch us. He came into the changing room to wish us well before the game, and it was great for the boys to see him."

Zaha’s visit motivated the team, who won 5-1. Later, when the Rams secured promotion to the Isthmian League South East Division by defeating Knaphill in the play-off final, music superstar Stormzy joined the celebration in the dressing room.
