Yuki Tsunoda will stay back at Red Bull's Alpha Tauri team for the 2023 season.

Red Bull's Alpha Tauri team is delighted to announce that Japanese Yuki Tsunoda will be a part of its Formula 1 line-up for the 2023 season.

The 22-year-old Japanese driver made his F1 debut for the RedBull-owned AlphaTauri in 2021 and has appeared in 38 races. Finishing at the fourth place at the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the best result he has delivered to his team.

Tsunoda has failed to score any points since the Spanish Grand Prix back in May as AlphaTauri finds itself struggling to compete with the leading midfield teams on a regular basis.

The announcement means AlphaTauri currently has a complete line-up for 2023 after revealing back in June that Pierre Gasly would be staying in Faenza.
