Yorkshire Triumph Over Glamorgan to Strengthen Promotion Push.

Yorkshire bolstered their Division Two promotion hopes with a commanding 186-run victory over Glamorgan, wrapping up the win just an hour into the final day.

Second-placed Yorkshire secured a crucial 22 points, keeping pace with rivals Middlesex and holding onto their 15-point lead with just one round remaining in the race for promotion.

On the final day, Matthew Fisher and Jordan Thompson delivered key breakthroughs, dismissing Glamorgan for 209.

Young opener Asa Tribe showed resilience with a solid 58, but it wasn’t enough to save Glamorgan from their third defeat in four Championship matches, as they also gear up for Sunday's One Day Cup final against Somerset.

Yorkshire’s promotion hopes remain bright as they head into the final stretch of the season.
