World champion Noah Lyles beats Knighton in 200m final in US Athletics Championships.

World champion Noah Lyles speedily crossed Erriyon Knighton to win the men's 200 meters in 19.67 seconds at the U.S. Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

Olympic bronze medalist Lyles denied the 18-year-old a spot on the podium in Tokyo and had clearly did not allow the youngster to cross him and win in Eugene.

Winning the race, the champion, Lyles said that "I do what it takes to win and Erriyon got the best of me on the turn. I never worried about that," 

"I am going to catch him, it’s just going to take the whole rest of the 100."

Knighton took silver after finishing the race at 19.69 seconds and Fred Kerley was at the third position finishing the 200m mark at 19.83 seconds.
