Winter Olympics Welcomes NHL Stars: Anticipated Comeback in 2026 and 2030.

After an absence since 2014, the National Hockey League (NHL) has announced its decision to send players to the Winter Olympics in both 2026 and 2030.

This marks a significant comeback for the league, bringing its top-tier athletes back to the global sporting event after a prolonged hiatus.

The NHL skipped the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang to avoid disrupting the ongoing season. In 2022, they didn't participate in Beijing due to Covid-19 worries.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman mentioned, 'NHL players take great pride in representing their countries.

The 2026 Winter Games are set to take place in Italy from February 6 to 22, 2026. As for the 2030 Winter Olympics, the host is yet to be announced, with the decision expected later this year.
