AFC Wimbledon’s flooded Plough Lane stadium has seen over 100,000 litres of water pumped out after the entire venue was submerged, according to the club's managing director.
The pitch at the Cherry Red Records Stadium has sustained "significant damage" after the nearby River Wandle overflowed on Sunday night, according to James Woodroof from BBC Radio London.
The Carabao Cup third-round match against Newcastle United, originally set for Tuesday, has been postponed and will now take place at St James's Park on October 1.
As a result, AFC Wimbledon's League Two home game against Crewe Alexandra, also scheduled for that day, has been postponed.
The club is hoping to hold their league match against Accrington Stanley at a different venue in south London on Saturday, Woodroof added.
