Wimbledon 2022: 36th match win in row, creates record by Iga Swiatek.

Iga Swiatek pulled her winning streak to a record 36th match. She had a straight-set victory over qualifier Jana Fett in the Wimbledon first round in Wimbledon 2022.

Iga claims her win over the ‎Croatian qualifier, Jana Fett within 75 minutes of the game. She won in straight-sets with 6-0, 6-3. Winning the game she entitled herself with a record of 36th consecutive match win in the process.

Previously, Venus Williams holds the spot of winning 35 consecutive matches, now Iga holds the WTA record for the longest unbeaten streak since 2000.

She became the first female player since Martina Hingis in 1997 to win 36 singles matches in a row.
