Williams driver Alex Albon is back on the track to race in Singapore.

Team Williams F1 driver Alex Albon says he has done "everything possible" to get himself ready for a return to action in this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix, after missing the the Italian Grand Prix due to appendicitis.

Albon took part in the Friday's free practice sessions at Monza before withdrawing from the event as he was struck down by appendicitis.

Meanwhile Albon was hospitalized and underwent surgery on Saturday. The team later confirmed that he experienced "respiratory failure", then he was moved to an intensive care unit in the Monza hospital where he was being treated.
