West Brom Frustrated in Stalemate Against Leeds United.

West Bromwich Albion's first home Championship match of the season ended in a frustrating goalless draw against Leeds United.

In a match with just two shots on target, Leeds United secured their second consecutive draw in the Championship, while West Bromwich Albion couldn’t capitalize on their season-opening victory against Queens Park Rangers.

Both teams, who came close to promotion last season, looked far from their best, resulting in a competitive but uneventful stalemate at The Hawthorns.

Leeds, coming off a 3-0 home loss to Middlesbrough in the League Cup, made one change with Joel Piroe replacing Georginio Rutter.

West Brom head coach Carlos Corberan stuck with the same lineup that earned a win at Loftus Road, but despite the lively atmosphere at kickoff, the game never really came to life after a minute's applause in memory of former Albion employees Craig Shakespeare and Kevin Campbell.
