Defending champion Demi Vollering seized the lead in the Tour de France Femmes by winning the stage three time trial. Earlier in the day, Charlotte Kool secured her second consecutive stage win.
Dutch rider Demi Vollering dominated the 6.3km time trial course in Rotterdam, finishing in 7 minutes 25 seconds to take the lead in the general classification. She now holds a slim three-second advantage over her SD Worx teammate, Lorena Wiebes.
Earlier, in a 67km flat stage from Dordrecht to Rotterdam, Charlotte Kool surged past Wiebes in the final moments to secure her second consecutive sprint victory, following her win in the opening stage.
Despite a 33rd-place finish in the time trial, 25 seconds behind Vollering, Kool remains a strong contender, sitting fifth overall just five seconds off the lead.
