Victory for GB Men and Women in Pro League Showdowns.

Great Britain's men and women both secured consecutive victories in the Hockey Pro League in London.

The men's team clinched a 2-1 win against Spain with goals from Conor Williamson and Alan Forsyth.

GB's women triumphed over China in a penalty shootout following a 3-3 draw in regular time.

These victories followed their wins against India on Sunday.

After two goalless quarters, Williamson broke the deadlock for GB's men in the 45th minute. Spain's Marc Miralles equalized in the fourth quarter, but Forsyth quickly restored GB's lead just a minute later.

Great Britain's men now sit fifth in the Pro League standings with 22 points from 11 games.

The women's match had a dramatic conclusion. Leading 3-1 after 49 minutes with goals from Tessa Howard, Anna Toman, and Charlotte Watson, GB saw their lead erased by China's Ning Ma and Jiaqi Zhong, forcing a penalty shootout.

In the shootout, Howard and Lily Walker scored for Great Britain, while Jiangxin He was the only scorer for China, securing the win for GB.

Great Britain's women are currently seventh in the standings with 14 points from 11 of their 16 matches.
