India’s Rohan Bopanna and Australian Matthew Ebden reached the second round of the US Open men's doubles after defeating the Netherlands' Sander Arends and Robin Haase.
Bopanna and Ebden breezed through their Dutch opponents, Sander Arends and Robin Haase, with a 6-3, 7-5 victory in just 64 minutes on Thursday night.
Despite arriving at the final Grand Slam of the season with three straight losses, the Indo-Australian pair, last year's runners-up, bounced back confidently to secure their spot in the second round.
