Chelsea's ownership is in turmoil, with two owners looking to buy each other out. Neither is willing to sell, leading to a major rift at the club.
On one side is Todd Boehly, often seen as the main face of Chelsea's ownership due to his high-profile role and bold public statements, like suggesting a Premier League all-star game.
Despite his prominent role, Boehly, who also owns the LA Dodgers, holds just a 12.8% stake in Chelsea, shared with allies Mark Walter and Hansjorg Wyss, limiting his influence.
On the other side is Behdad Eghbali, a key figure at Stamford Bridge and co-founder of Clearlake Capital, which holds a majority 61.5% stake in the club.
Eghbali, along with Clearlake co-founder Jose E. Feliciano, is focused on increasing their stake and has no intention of selling. They are prepared to wait, while Boehly seeks a resolution within the next two months.
