United States mixed team knocked out Great Britain at the United Cup.

The United States mixed team has comfortably clinched their spot in the semifinals of United Cup after smashing out Great Britain with an unassailable 4-1 lead in their City Final in Sydney.

Consecutive victories have given them passage to the semi-finals of the team event having previously knocked out a Rafael Nadal-led Spain and hosts Australia in a tough group encounter.

The winners in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane will progress, as well as the runners-up with the best record. But unfortunately Great Britain failed to progress.
