Three-weight world champion Shakur Stevenson has signed a promotional contract with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom.
WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson is set to fight Welshman Joe Cordina on October 12.
Eddie Hearn praised Stevenson as one of the "pound-for-pound greats," and Stevenson expressed hopes that Matchroom will help him face the "biggest names" in boxing.
“We will be unstoppable in and out of the ring,” Stevenson said. “I’ll continue to show my dominance in boxing for years to come. Bring on William Zepeda in early 2025, and I’m ready for anyone brave enough to face me. Few have taken on that challenge recently.”
Stevenson, 27, has held world titles in featherweight, super-featherweight, and lightweight. He remains undefeated in 22 fights and won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
