Judd Trump is set to face Shaun Murphy in the semi-finals of the first-ever Saudi Arabia Masters.
World number one Judd Trump defeated Australia's Neil Robertson 6-3 in the quarter-finals of the Saudi Arabia Masters on Thursday.
Trump quickly took a 3-0 lead, hitting a century break in the third frame—his 997th career century. Although Robertson narrowed the gap to 4-3, Trump pulled ahead as Robertson’s challenge faded.
Shaun Murphy advanced to the semi-finals with a 6-2 win over Xiao Guodong, making one half-century break, a 61 in the final frame.
Later, Ronnie O'Sullivan faced Si Jiahui, while Jimmy Robertson played Mark Williams in the remaining quarter-finals.
