Top Contender Rybakina Aims for Wimbledon Semifinal Spot.

Elena Rybakina believes that being the sole former Wimbledon singles champion remaining in the women's draw gives her an extra edge as she aims to reclaim the title.

With the prestige of her past victory bolstering her confidence, Rybakina is set to channel that experience and determination into her quest for a repeat triumph at the All England Club. Her unique position could be the catalyst for another unforgettable run on the storied grass courts of Wimbledon.

Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina, who claimed her first Grand Slam title by defeating Ons Jabeur in the 2022 Wimbledon final, is set to make another deep run at the All England Club.

As the highest-ranked player left in the women's draw, the fourth seed is widely regarded as the favorite to lift the Venus Rosewater Dish once more.

Rybakina will face Ukraine's Elina Svitolina in their quarter-final match, which kicks off play on Centre Court at 13:30 BST on Wednesday.

The excitement doesn’t end there, as Novak Djokovic returns to Centre Court to take on Alex de Minaur, just two days after voicing his frustration over disrespectful fans during his fourth-round victory against Holger Rune.

Meanwhile, on Court One, Latvia's Jelena Ostapenko will battle Czech Barbora Krejcikova in a clash of former French Open champions at 13:00 BST.

Following that, Italian Lorenzo Musetti will go head-to-head with 13th seed Taylor Fritz in what promises to be an exciting encounter.
