The Wimbledon organizers, the All England Club had announced in April, that players from Russia and Belarus would be banned from competing this year's Wimbledon championship.
To avoid of getting banned in the upcoming Wimbledon 2022, a Russian player, Natela Dzalamidze has undergone a legal procedure to change her nationality.
Natela Dzalamidze the 29-year-old Russian tennis player changed her nationality to Georgian.
After her nationality change, Dzalamidze will be allowed to take part in the women's doubles with Serbian partner Aleksandra Krunic, when the tournament kicks off on June 27.
