Thrilling rematch between Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Smith on 2nd September has been confirmed.

The most anticipated and thrilling rematch between Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Smith will be staged on 2nd September at London's O2 Arena.

The two British middleweights fought on January 21 with Smith walking through his rival and stopping him in four rounds at the AO Arena, Manchester. It was a stunning result that very few predicted. 

There was some uncertainty as to whether Eubank would activate the rematch clause, with a big-money fight against Conor Benn in the Middle East raised as an alternative option, but he has decided to look for revenge against Smith and the fight was scheduled for June 17.

Eubank Jr then reactivated his rematch clause a month later, but following an injury to Smith in training camp, the contest was set to take place on July 1 before being delayed once again with a date in September being the new target.
